Flea Market Hunting : Ben 10

Ben 10 is one of our favourite animated TV series and toy collection. We were missing one very essential character from the show but now she's ours, Gwen.

This is a cool version of Ben 10's cousin. The figure was really cheap, especially due the fact that a small part of her mask was broken. A cool figure.

Flea Market Hunting : The Real Ghostbusters

Yes! We finally found it! The Real Ghostbusters Fearsome Flush Toilet!

This was Isaac's most wanted "figure" from this collection. We finally got it. It also came with two little ghosts. Very cool!

Flea Market Hunting : Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

We also got Groundchuck.

A rather strange mutant bull figure,  Groundchuck aims to please Shredder. This mutated weapons expert is the Foot Clan's hooved hoodlum of choice. Chunky and beefy, Groundchuck is Grade A when it comes to grinding up the Turtles. Pushing the Teens to their limit with his electro-prod and Turtle-tethering crossbow, Groundchuck's a cut above the rest. It's lights out for our half-shelled heroes when Groundchuck takes aim with his tranquilizing dart wrist gun. This horned hood has declared open season - and the Turtles are fair game!

Flea Market Hunting : Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

One of my favourite action figure from the original TMNT series was the Rat King. He is much cooler then the newer version. We finally got lucky and found him. Awesome figure with lots of details.

Flea Market Hunting : Resident Evil

Wow! We never seen that action figure before…. the Tyrant from Resident Evil.

Back in the days of the first Playstation gaming console, I love the first two Resident Evil video games. They were actually scary. It was a cool franchise that sadly went down the toilet.

In 1990, Toy Biz released this figure. The Tyrant stands at 8.5 inches tall! Its a huge figure with lots of details and a great paint. We love it. He is now the leader of our zombies figures from The Walking Dead.

The Tyrant... The goal of Umbrella was to create the ultimate weapon -- an unstoppable killing machine, incapable of emotion, impervious to conventional weapons. The Tyrant is the culmination of Umbrella's research and represents the perfection of the T-Virus. S.T.A.R.S. thought they were mobilized as part of a routine investigation -- little did they know that they were actually sent in to test the Tyrant's capabilites against a trained military team. Will Chris, Jill and the other S.T.A.R.S. members defeat the Tyrant, or will Umbrella's evil emissary be unleashed to an unsuspecting population?

Flea Market Hunting : Aliens

The Alien Queen!

We already owned this one but one of its arm was slightly broken. Plus there is no such thing as too much Aliens. Love the amount of details on this one. Its a great figure and our Alien collection is growing!

Flea Market Hunting : Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

We finally got Rahzar!

He is one of two fictional mutant villains in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and all related media. They first appeared in the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Rahzar was played by Mark Ginther and Tokka was played by Kurt Bryant. They were both voice-acted by Frank Welker.

Rahzar is a mutant wolf/dog, frequent minion of the Shredder. He is probably the inspiration for DogPound in the new animated TV series.

Its a cool figure. It took us years to find but now he's ours.

Flea Market Hunting : Petzi

As a kid one of my favourite comic books was Petzi, which was also known as Rasmus Klump. I loved reading the stories of Petzi and his friends. There was also a short live TV series. I will try to find some of these books for Isaac and I.

Rasmus Klump (translates to Rasmus Lump or Erasmus Lump) is a comic strip series for children created in 1951 by the Danish wife and husband team Carla and Vilhelm Hansen. The series was translated into a number of foreign languages, in some of which the title character Rasmus was renamed Petzi, Pol, Rasmus Nalle or other variations.

The series tells the adventures of the bear cub Rasmus Klump and his friends: Pingo (a penguin), Pelle (a pelican), Pilskaden (a turtle), Skæg (a seal) and others. Always dressed in red dungarees with white polka dots, Rasmus Klump travels the world on board his boat Mary, which he builds with his friends in the first episode.

The comic strips do not make use of speech balloons but rather captions, whose humour, as well as the affectionally drawn pictures, contributed greatly to the popularity of the series. There is however a parallel humoristic strip version of the series, where speech balloons are used frequently.

Flea Market Hunting

Found this cool little figure at the flea market. Sadly I don't remember its name but I used to own it as a kid and loved the animated TV series. Anyone can help? Thanks!

Flea Market Hunting : Sinestro

This Sinestro came in the three pack Action Leagues Comic Series based on the Green Lantern animated TV series. A cool, simply yet stylish figure.

Flea Market Hunting : Super Heroes Squad

We got this Marvel Super Heroes Squad Silver Surfer, which is without a doubt the weirdest looking version of the Silver Surfer. We are not sure why he is like that but since Isaac didn't owned him yet, we got it.

Monday, June 16, 2014

Flea Market Hunting : Super Heroes Squad

Next is War Machine.

Another very cool Super Heroes Squad! Isaac's collection is growing fast.

Sunday, June 15, 2014

Flea Market Hunting : Super Heroes Squad

This Super Heroes Squad Hydra soldier is simply too cool! We didn't even knew that they had made it. A cool addition to Isaac's collection.

Flea Market Hunting : Super Heroes Squad

Hawkeye!

This Super Heroes Squad is a very cool version of Hawkeye. Sculpt, details and paint are nice.

Flea Market Hunting : G.I.Joe

From the same series, we also got Storm Shadow. Now Isaac owns two of the most essentials characters from the Joe universe.

We found lots of cool stuff including this G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra Combat Heroes Snake Eyes! Even though he is small, he still kick @$$.

Kirby Triple Deluxe + Legends of Cthulhu Retro Action Figure

Kirby Triple Deluxe was one of Isaac's most anticipated Nintendo 3DS video game of the year. I got it for him the day it came out.

Devour trees, obstacles, and huge chunks of stages with Kirbys Hypernova ability and inhale enemies to copy epic new moves like Archer. Its a grand new Kirby adventure.

When a mysterious being kidnaps King Dedede atop a giant Dreamstalk, only Kirby can save the day! Jump from the foreground to the background in dynamic 3D side-scrolling environments while using new and returning copy abilities to defeat enemies. Duke it out in Kirby Fighters, a fierce 4-player battle mode where you fight using a chosen ability like Sword or Ninja. The last Kirby standing reigns supreme. Whether youre new to Kirby or an old fan, the Kirby: Triple Deluxe game offers a triple threat-action, adventure, and a battle mode!

Check out this great Kickstarter for Legends of Cthulhu Retro Action Figure!! I think we will get all four of them. They look great!

Lego The Simpsons + Lego Minifigures Series 12

Here's all of the Lego The Simpsons minifigures we got. We have most of the ones we wanted. We'll have to go and find the others soon.

Here's a first look at the upcoming Lego minifigures series 12 (Lego Movie was series "M" while Lego The Simpsons was series "S").

Lego The Simpsons Itchy

Itchy
Itchy is a zany cartoon mouse who cheerfully squishes, crushes and mangles his perpetual unwitting victim, Scratchy the Cat, to the delight of young television-watching children everywhere.

Probably our most wanted of this series.

Lego The Simpsons Nelson + Montreal ToyCon

Nelson Muntz
The oldest and biggest kid in Bart’s fourth-grade class, Nelson Muntz began his bullying career at the age of six months. As a three-year-old, he successfully took candy from a trained United States Marine. He probably won’t be a very upstanding citizen when he grows up.

Always loved Nelson and this is a superb minifigure. Cool baseball bat too!

In a few minutes, we are leaving for the Montreal ToyCon!

Lego The Simpsons Grampa Simpson

Grampa Simpson
Old Abe Simpson is a babbling fountain of questionable wisdom and advice that is almost impossible to shut off. He clearly remembers taking part in important historical events that happened long before he was born, as well as others that may never have actually occurred at all.

We had to get this one. He's hilarious.

Lego The Simpsons Chief Wiggum

Chief Wiggum
Clancy Wiggum, the donut-devouring Chief of the Springfield Police Department, will do whatever it takes to keep order in his town…as long as it doesn’t involve any actual police work. Or having to wake up from his nap.

A very cool minifigure. Wiggum is one of the funniest and stupidest characters in the series.

Lego The Simpsons Krusty the Clown

Krusty the Clown
Krusty the Clown is an all-around funnyman, entrepreneur, and TV kiddie-show host. As a child, young Herschel Krustofski would do anything for a chance to entertain. As an adult, Krusty the Clown will put his name and image on anything if it will help him make a quick buck.

One of our most wanted! A great looking minifigure.

Lego The Simpsons Milhouse

Milhouse Van Houten
Milhouse is Bart’s bespectacled best friend. He may look like a nerd, but don’t be fooled! After all, nerds are smart. Poor Milhouse…won’t he ever get any respect?

Milhouse is an ok minifigure. He does look like the character, nothing special.

Lego The Simpsons Mr. Burns

Montgomery Burns
Monty Burns is the owner of the Nuclear Plant, Homer’s boss, and officially the Most Despised Man in Springfield. A merciless multi-billionaire with a heart of lead, Mr. Burns enjoys taking long walks on the beach…where he dumps radioactive waste into the ocean.

We love this one. He looks great and that fish is funny.

Lego The Simpsons minifigures

We got them!

Isaac and I spent a good 30 minutes going through a full box to find the ones we wanted the most and almost got them all!! This is the 13th series of Lego minifigures and features 16 of them.

Doctor Dreadful Zombie Lab

The ultimate in disturbingly delicious experiments! We finally got to try our Doctor Dreadful Zombie Lab. We created our own delicious treats of bubbling brains, zombie skins, eyeballs and the rather strange brain barf beverage.

Overall this is a cool experience for the kids but it was more preparation then anything else. Everything is very sweet and sugary.
