Flea Market Hunting : Masters of the Universe

We got another retro Masters of the Universe action figure for our collection, Whiplash!

Originally released in 1984 as part of the the wave, Whiplash uses his thrashing tail for doom and destruction! He is missing his spear but still a cool figure.

Happy Halloween!
Have fun, trick or treat, be safe and watch John Carpenter's classic film!

Fisher Price's Imaginext meets Playskool Heroes

With all of the Imaginext we just got, Isaac and I decided to have one BIG story. The Imaginext's bad guys teamed up with the Playskool Heroes bad guys. Together they were almost unstoppable and took over most of the land...

Time for our new Imaginext to join in and change history!

Happy Meal's Beware the Batman

We went to McDonalds to get some new toys based on the Beware the Batman TV series. Its not the coolest figure of all time but Isaac was still happy... and that is all that matters.

Strangely, the Beware the Batman disappeared from the Cartoon Network schedule...

That same night at Toy R Us, we finally scored that amazing Lego mini series 11 Scarecrow! We've been searching for this one badly everywhere but no luck. I finally managed to find the bump code online... and voila!

Imaginext Blind Bag Series 1 Collectible Figures

The third one we got was the Space Alien Ruler. He's an ok figure. If he's a ruler then why that big smile on his face... he isn't very menacing. He comes with a cape and HUGE scepter.

Imaginext Blind Bag Series 1 Collectible Figures

The next one turned out to be the Anubis the Mummy. What a great looking figure, probably my favourite. He comes with a mask and a scepter.

Saturday action figures news!

Every Saturday we will feature some news about the world of action figures!

- Masters of the Universe

Barbarossa Art have released a Karg action figure based on the Masters of the Universe live action film from 1987. This one looks like the Mattel figures from the time.

- Ulysse 31

One of the most popular TV series around here when I was a kid was Ulysse 31. It looks like Bandai released action figures back then!

- Goldorak

A new UFO Robot Grendizer was recently released by Bandai and its gorgeous!

- Masters of the Universe Funko

MOTU and Funko... we need those!!!

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA ƒ

After days of looking for it everywhere, I finally found a copy of the North American release of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA ƒ.

The game primarily makes use of Vocaloids, a series of singing synthesizer software, and the songs created using these vocaloids, most notably the virtual-diva Hatsune Miku. Its Japanese Pop at its best... and yes its addictive!

Proud... very proud.

Here's some figures that are proudly showcased in our house...

Isaac's got that Living Dead Doll Chucky last year. Creepy and cute at the same time. We love those Mezco stylized figures. Jason was the very first one we got. Leatherface is probably my favourite. There is also our two Barbie superheroes and most importantly... our Barbie Joan Jett.

I Love Rock N' Roll!

Here's some new space we set up for our Lego... needless to say that its getting a little out of hands especially considering that this is maybe one fifth of our collection.

Aliens invasion!

We love our Aliens collection but not when they are trying to invade us and take control of our home. Thanks to the Colonial Marines, they came to the rescue and tried to get rid of those Xenomorphs.

Happy birthday Isaac!

Seven years ago today, the most important and beautiful event of my life happened… the birth of my son, Isaac.

Never could have I expected that being a father would be so amazing. Isaac has brought me hope, faith, passion and love. He has brighten my life and make it worth living.

Our relationship is as strong as ever. He is my son but also my love, idol and most importantly my best friend.

I love you Isaac.
For now and forever.
