Lego + Lego Movie

Here is Isaac just lying down and playing with some of his Lego. I love those photos as he was so into it. The Monsters were taking over but the Avengers came in to save the day!

With all the talk of a big budget Lego movie to happen here's a look at what Lego and Blur Studios were working on when the project first started.

Blur's Jeff Fowler and artist Sean McNally got to work on a concept for their pitch, which revolved around a young Lego minifig leaving his small Lego town behind to go on an adventure in the human world. Along the way, he runs into all kinds of Lego settings and characters who are scattered throughout the real world, like post-apocalyptic scavengers hunting for batteries and pirates battling giant...bath toys.

Batman - Killer Croc

Yes! We finally found the new Killer Croc action figure released by Mattel. This "Power Attack" version is our favourite. Just look at how cool he is!

And look at Isaac doing his Killer Croc impression... for a second I though it was really him!

And on August 30, 1987, the very first Street Fighter game was released by Capcom. Making today the series' 25th birthday. Wow!

I've always been a big fan of this amazing series and now Isaac is too thanks to the killer Capcom Vs. Marvel 3 video game.

Our Lego city

Isaac and I decided to build a Lego city instead of the Star Wars Death Star we had started a few months ago. The Lego city is more logical and will be a place for all Lego collection. It will be in constant evolution.

It is build around our Lego Space Train. In there you can see the Lego Batcave released last year. There is also the Spider-Man and Green Goblin labs along with the Mega Bloks TMNT hangout.

One next step is to have actual Lego road plates and make it look more like a city. It is slowly becoming very nice.

Flea Market Hunting : Batman + Retro Commercials 5

Another action figure we found from the Batman universe is Ra's Al Ghul from The Adventures of Batman and Robin collection. This was released by Kenner in 1997. Its a cool looking version of one of Batman's greatest enemies. Sadly it was missing all his accessories but we're happy to own it.

Remember Pulsar?

Flea Market Hunting : Batman + Retro Commercials 4

While going through a pile of action figures, Isaac found a Brave and the Bold version of Batman! Yes! We didn't owned one already so it was a cool find.

We both loved the TV series, too bad it had to end.

And for those wondering... Isaac was eating a cherry popsicle just before we took those photos!

Remember Centurions? Those were ultra cool!

Flea Market Hunting : Star Wars + Retro Commercials 3

Yes! We found the original Gamorrean Guard from Star Wars released by Kenner around 1983. As a kid I loved that action figure. We already owned a few version of these guys but not this one.

And look at Isaac's impression! AhHAhHAh!

Remember Kenner's Robocop collection? We want them all!

Flea Market Hunting : TMNT + Retro Commercials 2

One collection Isaac and I decided to start last year was the TMNT original action figures released by Playmates. But we only want the bad guys or unique heroes... for now no actual Turtles.

And we found Tokka. He is one of the monsters in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze film released in 1991.

Its a cool looking figure. Now we need to find Rahzar.

Here's another retro commercial!

Lego, Lego, Lego!

After weeks of searching we finally managed to find some of the Lego mini figures series we were looking for! Here they are in all their beauty: the Genie, Little Red Riding Hood and the Computer Geek.

Those three were high on our "must own" list. Isaac has officially decided that the Computer Geek is actually Clark Kent! So now we have both Kent and Bruce Wayne!

A few we are still looking for.. Bunny Suit, Daredevil, Luchador wrestler, Zombie...

Check out this cool Lego The Moting Picture Vehicle Design Contest!

Here's a look at the ultra cool Lego Star Wars #9526 Palpatine's Arrest! Wow! We want it.

And a look at the Lego Star Wars #9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter.

Mezco's Cinema of Fear + Retro Commercials 1

Here is a better look at the ultra cool Mezco's Cinema of Fear Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre we recently got. Standing nine inches tall, the maniac comes complete with chainsaw, bucket of glistening gore, bloody mallet, "bone" handle knife, and removable apron. Leatherface features 13 points of articulation and real cloth clothing.

I bet you love retro commercials. Remember Madballs?

Lego Batman 2 video game Lex Luthor

With the pre-order of the Lego Batman 2 video game we got an exclusive Lego Lex Luthor mini figure!

Look at him, this is a much better version then the one available in store. The armor is great and the gun is big.

Lego Batman 2 video game

Isaac and I loved the first Lego Batman video game. When the sequel was announced, we pre-ordered it. The day it came out in store, we went out to buy it.

Its a cool game especially due to the fact that there is so many DC Comics characters to unlock. Exploring Gotham is fun but can also turn out to be frustrating. Unfortunately, the story mode is way shorter then in the original game.

A good sequel that should have been better.

Lego

Here is the Lego Gorilla mini figure that Isaac got at the ToyCon thanks to a member of Quelug. Its a beautiful Lego figure and now our Lego Godzilla has a friend.

Lego Gorilla mini figure was released as part of the series 3. The Sumo wrestler, Rapper and Mummy are the others we want from that series.

We love Lego!

Here's the ultra cool Lego Star Wars Rancor set coming in 2013!

Here's the Lego Elrond mini figure that will be available with pre-order of the highly anticipated Lego The Lord of the Rings video game.

And here's a cool Lego DC Universe Super Heroes commercial.

Aliens from Kenner

After the ToyCon, Isaac wanted to play with his new Aliens action figures and vehicles. Here is a quick look at them. Take note that this is not all of them.

The Space Marine Stinger XT-37 vehicle is awesome! And here is A.t.a.x. (Alien tactical advantage explorer).

Lots of ugly yet so cool monsters!

A.t.a.x. (Alien tactical advantage explorer) with all his accessories.
