Earth Mightiest Heroes continues...

Since no one came out victorious from the last fight between all of Marvel heroes and villains, we had to do it again. But this time even more menacing foes came in... Godzilla and all of his "friends"! Guess who won?

Flea Market Hunting : Nintendo

Isaac and I love video games! And Nintendo have some of the most well known characters of such medium. They are cool, cute and colourful.

Isaac already had received as a gift a Mario and Yoshi figure. Now I managed to find Cranky Kong (which is the original Kong from the 1981 video game classic and the father of Donkey Kong from the amazing Donkey Kong Country series) and Diddy Kong.

Flea Market Hunting : Marvel

Another very cool classic action figure I found was Dr. Doom from the original Mattel Secret Wars collection released in the mid-1980s!

We already had this version of Doom but at only one buck I simply couldn't pass. It will now join our collection displayed in the living room while the other one will be to play with. Plus there is never enough of Dr. Doom.

Flea Market Hunting : Thundercats

I found an original Thundercats action figure! Released by LJN in 1987 as part of the third series was Jaga. Standing at 6" tall, this is a cool figure. Sadly it is missing his cape, helmet and sword but we are very happy to have find it.

You can push down the battle-matic action lever on the back to move both of Jaga’s arms up and down.

Flea Market Hunting : Sectaur

I got another Sectaur for Isaac. While we already had him I had to get it especially since it was only $1. The evil General Spidrax, the hideous leader of the Dark Domain's armies!

This is the original box it came in back in the days!

Flea Market Hunting : Ben 10

I got another Ben 10 action figure for Isaac at the flea market. This is actually Ben as a kid from the original tv series. Its a very cool figure, which Isaac already owned but only at his mom's.

Here's a look at some of the upcoming 2012 ben 10 Omniverse action figures! A big thanks to the Toy News International web site for those exclusive images.

Flea Market Hunting : Ben 10

Isaac and I love Ben 10. Sadly older figures are almost impossible to find around here. Yet I managed to get a great Ben 10 metamorfigure of Benwolf!!

Those who collect Ben 10 figures know just how hard it is to find Benwolf, especially this one. Got it for only $4 at the flea market.

Benwolf makes sounds when his mouth is open and also lights up.

Flea Market Hunting : M.A.S.K.

Two weeks ago, the weather was amazing and it almost felt like summer. I decided to take a guess and go to the flea market with my brother. I found tons of cool stuff for Isaac and I.

We both love M.A.S.K. and were lucky enough to find a few vehicles and figures on Ebay and the flea market. Now I managed to find two more!

Thunderhawk and Hurricane! Both are in great condition and works perfectly well.

Loki is here!

Finally... we got a Loki action figure. This King Loki figure is part of the Thor film collection. Its a cool figure, with his helmet and a nice fire missile weapon.

This was about time we got this character, especially since the Loki will be in the upcoming film, The Avengers.

Mezco's Cinema of Fear A Nightmare On Elm Street

Look at what we found!!!

Just when we left the Legends Action Figures store, I saw that awesome figure in the window. For a moment I hesitate but then Isaac told me: "Daddy, there is only one left. Get it otherwise once we get home you'll regret not to".

So I did... and happy I am!

But as expected the Sentinel was then joined by some of Earth deadliest foes. Who will win?

Marvel Legends 10 Sentinel

Some of you realized the tease from yesterday... we got the Marvel Legends 10 Sentinel figure!

This is an amazing figure that stands about 16" tall!  It has a very rough and damaged look. The sculpt and design is simply amazing. We see all of the wires running through his body. The paint job is also very good and brings the character to life. It is also fully articulated and comes with some wicked tentacles. A great job from Toy Biz.

This Sentinel looks menacing!

As mentioned yesterday, Sentinel was taken over our home but thankfully Wolverine decided to take matters into his own... claws.

We've been invaded!

A tall dark robot has invaded our home!!!!

He keeps on flying all around the place, firing energy blasts and trying to detect mutants...

Marvel Universe

We also got a new Marvel Universe. Originally in a double pack with The Thing was Bulldozer, which we got alone and used.

Bulldozer is a member of the Wrecking Crew (with Wrecker). The character was created by Len Wein and Sal Buscema and first appeared in Defenders #17 (November 1974). Due to exposure from the Asgardian magic in the Wrecker's crowbar, Bulldozer possesses superhuman strength and a high degree of imperviousness to harm. He can withstand high amounts of concussive force, and is virtually bulletproof.

Its a cool and colourful character. The Hasbro figure is detailed and fully articulated. Isaac is very proud of owning him.

Marvel Select Skrull Multi-Pack

Yes! We found more Skrulls warriors! This time Isaac got the very cool Marvel Select Skrull Multi-Pack. It features three Skrulls, which are highly detailed but limited in articulations.

Sadly as we opened the package the foot of one Skrull broke... Isaac was crying. After using almost a full tube of Crazy Glue I was able to glue that damn feet back. Marvel Select are cool figures but way too fragile.

Legends Action Figures

And off we went to our favourite action figures store...

Aliens

Here is where Isaac falls asleep into the world of dreams... and monsters. Yes, this is a Alien Facehugger plush that he sleeps with. You can also see part of his Lego Super Heroes DC Universe, Batman Arkham Asylum figures, a Pokemon and Angry Bird.

Mezco's Cinema of Fear Halloween

Another great Mezco's Cinema of Fear figure I got was Michael Myers from Halloween. This was the 1st time Michael Myers has ever joined the world of Designer Vinyl figures. This 9 inch tall terror from Haddonfield is dressed in his classic jumpsuit, comes with oversized bloody knife and features "real" hair and features ten points of articulation.

Its a very cool figure but sadly it is based on the remake and not the original classic from John Carpenter.

Mezco's Cinema of Fear Friday the 13th

I just realized that I have never posted anything about those...

A few years ago I got the Mezco's Cinema of Fear of Jason Vorhees. This very cool figure combines a highly detailed roto-molded 12 inch figure with full articulation and removable fabric jacket. Jason is even more menacing with his arsenal of twisted weapons and removeable hockey mask.

I remember seeing Friday the 13th in theatre... I was underage but sneaked in. Now Isaac loves Jason and most horror icons.

Here is a photo of Jason unmasked! He also comes with various weapons and a severed head!

Lego Ninjago

Beside the Lego Super Heroes, Isaac's favourite Lego collection is probably Ninjago. He loves the toys and the tv series, which he watches almost religiously multiple times! He wanted to show his collection of what he has so far. The Fire Temple being the proudest item out of it.

I recently decided to showcase some of our action figures collection in our living room.

Everything from Star Wars, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Adventure People, Dungeons And Dragons, Grendizer, Ghostbusters, Toxic Crusaders, Chuck Norris, Thundercats, Masters of the Universe, Gremlins and other hard to find figures found a new home where they are now all proudly displayed.

Lego!

The coolest thing about all of the Lego series is that they can just all blend together. Tonight the Lego Batcave got invaded by the Alien Conquest beings. Those monstrous yet cute looking Lego mini figures bad guys were joined by Lex Luthor.

Thankfully the Space Police came in to the rescue of our DC friends.
