I would have to say that as a kid my favorite TV show was UFO Robot Grendizer (Goldorak in French). It was a super robot TV anime and manga created by manga artist Go Nagai. This show had it all; giant robots, monsters, aliens, action, drama. A total of 74 episodes were made along with two full feature films!
Unfortunately action figures of Grendizer are either extremely expensive and impossible to find! Yet during our last trip at the flea market I managed to find an old school 3.5" version of Grendizer that I used to own as a kid. The biggest surprise for me was that the seller was asking for only 50 cents! Wow!
