Star Wars

While Jabba The Hutt and his gang took over the Hall of Justice, the evil Empire took possession of the Batcave as their new hideout.

As Grand Morff Tarkin was getting instruction from the Emperor, the Troopers were getting ready to invade the enemies territories.

Star Wars

I think that by now you have all realize just how much my son and I love Star Wars. One of our recent goal was to get as much monsters/creatures action figures as possible for them to inhabit within Jabba the Hutt's palace (actually DC Comics' Hall of Justice).

Here's some of them as they were getting ready to fight last time we played.

Star Wars

Last weekend we went to the Legends action figures store with one mission... finding two Star Wars characters. Guess what? We did it!

After a long time of hope and hunting, we finally managed to find Wicket and not one but two Gamorrean Guards! We've been trying to find these for sometime now! Needles to say that Isaac and I are extremely happy about it!

With all of the cool Lego sets we got and constructions we made I decided to have shelves for Isaac to expose his collection and creations.

As you can see there is lots of Lego Star Wars, some Batman, Spider-Man, Atlantis, and more. This is not all the ones we got though. All of the separated blocks/pieces are now in a HUGE box stored but Isaac can easily reach it and let his imagination go wild!

Tron Legacy

With the movie loosing momentum at the box office, stores are starting to lower the price of the Tron Legacy action figures and vehicles. We quickly grabbed the cool Deluxe Light Cycle of CLU.

The cycle is nicely designed, lights up, makes sounds and you can take out the CLU action figure. This is NOT our last Tron Legacy items, trust me!

Ben 10

Older Ben 10 action figures are extremely hard to find around here. So whenever we spot some used we buy them.

The last one we got is the 6" Brainstorm from the Alien Force collection. By pressing a button on its back, Brainstorm's cranium opens, revealing his brain which illuminates.

Tony Stark with Armor Carrying Suitcase

Another cool figure we got from our last trip at Legends was Tony Stark with Armor Carrying Suitcase. Produced in 1995 from Toy Biz. The attache case folds open to reveal Iron Man armor.

Wealthy industrialist Tony Stark possesses a secret that only a select group of trusted individuals are privy to: when not directing the daily operations of his multi-million dollar corporation Stark Enterprises, he battles injustice in the armored guise of Iron Man! Clad in his techno-mesh body suit, Tony stands prepared to catapult into any of his numerous suits of interchangeable armor-ready to combat the likes of the diabolical Mandarin and his legion of super-powered criminals!

Spider-Man

My son and I just went back to the local action figures store, Legends. We got lots of cool new figures...

First is the Lizard Spider-Man movie classic 2 action figure that features slashing tail smash attack! Its a beautifully designed and detailed figure.

The Lizard features a multi-jointed tail with tail-smash action, and comes with web-cuffs, web-muzzle, and peel-off sticker. The Lizard is hunched, green scales bursting through the rips and tears in his mutilated white lab coat. One of the cooler-looking interpretations of the character, he looks to be well-articulated. Suffering an amputated arm, Curt Connors devoted his scientific pursuits towards the creation of a limb-regenerating serum based upon reptilian DNA. Connors conceived the serum and self-tested it, and though the serum did regenerate the amputated arm, it simultaneously transformed Connors into a humanoid reptile creature. This monstrous alter ego, the Lizard, possessed heightened strength, durability, and reflexes, and an ability to mentally control reptilian life forms.

We also got the Sandman Smashing Sand Punch figure from the Spider-Man movie classic 1 collection. Its another very nice figure. You can press a lever for smashing sand punch! It comes with interchangeable hands.

A shapeshifter endowed through an accident with the ability to turn himself into sand, he eventually reformed, and became an ally of Spider-Man. The Sandman first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #4 (Sept. 1963), created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko as an adversary of Spider-Man. The character returned in The Amazing Spider-Man #18 and #19, and was soon depicted in other comics, such as battling the Hulk and the Fantastic Four.
