Fisher Price's Imaginext

Everyone growing up in the late 1970s - early 1980s must remember the amazing Adventure People collection from Fisher Price. About 30 sets and more then 70 different figures were made to satisfy every kid's wild imagination. Well in 2002, Fisher Price released an updated version known as Imaginext.

While smaller in size then the Adventure People figures, the Imaginext figures are just as cool. Gigantic themed based playsets and figures have been released through the years including; Jungle, Dragons, Pirates, Lost Creatures (Dinosaures), Ocean, City, Space and DC Super Friends.

The amount of details of some of these sets is incredible. Its as if everything was though out perfectly. There are traps, hidden doors and tons of cool accessories. My son owns a lot of Imaginext. What you are seeing here in pictures is about half of his collection, the rest is at his mom's place or simply out of the picture's frame. Needless to say that we spend lots of time playing with those and probably will for a long time...
